Monday night, Glee finale, what were my chances of watching it downstairs?
Natch, Nada, Zilch, None.
So up I went and watched it on the black and white portable. (Figure of speech, I know we don't have sky, but we aren't in black and white...)
Don't worry ladies, I have quietly got my own back.
Last nights tea? Pasta with a vegetable sauce.
Tonight's tea? Quiche.
I am enjoying the fact that my red meat and two veg guy is sitting watching football eating quiche, when really he wants a burger or steaks.
Revenge is sweet.
So what's tomorrow?
Halloumi salad?
Something with chickpeas?

I'll say Halloumi salad, because I love that cheese. If he doesn't eat it, I happily will!!
Has he actually noticed you're having your revenge, or is he too tied up in the football?
How about some cottage cheese, that might get his attention....
Hilarious! If I want to punish my husband I make ratatouille... however, as revenge is a dish best served cold, then maybe a chickpea salad is just the ticket.

There must be many of these footie mad folk around but fortunately my guy loves Gee too!!
Tonight, due to daughter placing an Ikea plate in the oven and it releasing toxic fumes as it was heating up to cook, said quiche had to be served cold with lettuce. An alternative was offered - marmite on toast. He chose cold quiche, no lettuce. Ate it and said, 'worst tea ever.' I thought my marmite on toast was quite delicious, followed by apple and choccie cake. Took me back to my student days!
